Spheric grew organically from the ideals of a few young people determined to change the rules of IT business-as-usual.
In 2003, we were on top of our game: doing smart tech work and tackling tough software challenges for giant companies. We were hanging out in a basement, working on a side project for fun…and talking.
We’d seen enough of politics and bureaucracy, undervalued employees, and those endless, expensive project paths that just empty a client’s pockets—without something brilliant to show for it. We knew that we, and people like us, were dying to do better things in much better ways.
The missing pieces? A company culture that sparks excitement, passionate collaboration, and lightning bolts of brainy creativity. An understanding that the web and its related technologies had sucked business, IT, and social interactions into a spacetime wormhole, and they’d come out the other end, transformed.
We envisioned a fresh, new world to work in and the kick-ass men and women who’d help us create it. We wanted to reinvent how sites, intranets, and apps were built and maintained, and rocket them to new levels.
So, we invented Spheric.
Since then, we’ve already been named one of the Hot 50 Emerging Growth Companies in Canada, our client list features some powerhouse Fortune 500 firms, and our reach extends throughout North America and around the world.
And, we’re still having fun.
